Img_4086.jpgBroke my Expert out of Jail last Saturday. Took it straight to the Range. It practically shoots itself. 30 rounds at 30 yards no-more than 3-4 seconds between shots. Can I say I LOVE this gun

When I bought mine I went home and bought the Meprolight TruDot adjustable sights for it. They came in while the gun was still in Jail. I did not put them on yet as I wanted to shoot it with the factory "Black" Target sights. Now I'm apprehensive to put them on as this thing is so "ON" with the Factory sights. Maybe I'll Change just the front for now as these old eyes need help in low light situations. Thoughts??

My biggest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

I took a bunch of guns out for an all 9mm day again and even though I have other CZ's and clones, and other DA/SA the SP-01 took the most concentration to group with. Don't get me wrong, I shot them all about the same but the SP-01 was not as enjoyable. I guess I am used to the Glocks and Walther PPQ triggers. I also think 1911 triggers are way overrated, at least Springfield triggers are. I'd trade my 9mm 1911 or my SP-01 for an Expert... but I won't have to since I just paid for an Expert .45

yeah glock triggers seem to mess people up. they get good with the glock and then not as good with everything else. I've seen guys that are fantastic with glock and horrible with anything da/sa. it's just so different from everything else

I hope that is not the case, hahah. I think you can get used to Glocks and still shoot anything. So far I just dry fired the Expert 45, but the trigger feels great on those in DA and SA. Cannot DROS it for a while.

There's just something that feels awkward about the stock SP-01 to me, but like I said the groups are good. Maybe I need to throw $400 at it

It might just be when I take 6-8 pistols to the range and shoot them side by side, the SP-01 is one that is not as enjoyable in direct comparison.

it's not the case for everyone is just a few experiences I've seen with other people. it's all about practice. they start shooting glocks almost exclusively and their skills deteriorate with other platforms. that may just be true for those two particular individuals. everyone has their preferences and I will say this of my first cz had the trigger of my second cz I would never have been as into the cz platform as I am. trigger work can make a huge difference. that said it may always be the red headed step child of your collection. btw I hate you guys for making me want the ups expert.

I had an Expert. 45 made in the 80s or 90s it was perfect from the 1st shot to the last. I just bought 2 new ones. I've sold one and am looking to sell the other. They just aren't the same anymore. Both had multiple fte's and jams.

I say SP-01. Now if it was a 9mm Expert then I would be all over it. .45 meh

I never felt that way about my old CZ40B, but I was shooting my Ruger P95DC before that... before any Glock contamination. I'll have to take the 40B out next time with the 9mm's and see.

I'd say try my compact or sp01 tactical. that may change your tune.

Since it is not a gun I would miss much, I might send it on a vacation.
