Even sending an SP-01 in to CGW puts the gun at about what a Expert costs. I still think an Expert .45 for a grand is a deal that doesn't come around often.

The double action is pretty heavy on the Expert. The single action is not bad and I would guess around 4-4.5 lbs. If you are comparing stock trigger with the SP-01, the Expert is better but if you compare to a Cajun Gun Works SP-01 trigger, then the CZ wins.

As for how the Expert feels in my hands, kind of reminds me of how a CZ Tactical Sport or a CZ 97B feels with thin aluminum grips. Definitely not as ergo friendly as the SP-01. For people with small to medium size hands, you might not like the Expert.

I have yet to shoot an Expert so can't compare but it would be nice to compare apples to apples. Does anyone have a HK USP Expert .45 and can compare to a CGW CZ 97B? The Expert is suppose to be as accurate as some of the $3K 1911's. My CGW 97B Copperhead is as accurate as some semi-custom 1911's.

I have elite, match, expert and regular ol usp's. I personally love them, with the Elite being just about the best shooting, all around, stock pistol I have ever touched.

I have shot a few cz's, and I did not care for them, really just indifferent about it. Convince me I'm wrong so I can start buying a new brand of pistol. I'm running out of options. I tend to do that, buy up most of a manufacturer then move on to the next.

I have expert in .45 it is really smooth love it but I would trade it for 9mm lol just to consolidate my guns to one caliber. Right now shooing for cz or sig X-5

Sp 01 is my choice. CZ has excellent quality despite the price tag they make an exceptional firearm

Sp-01 will come next. Wanted to grab this one while I could. I'll probably put a deposit on an sp-01 soon. Everything I heard was they were about 2-3 months out anyway.

Id take the USP Expert without a doubt. The SP01 is not at all desirable to me what so ever. The Expert is a very, very nice pistol. Not saying the SP01 is bad, just my personal opinion between the two.

if you can find one I think about $1100 or so. Alamo has one I believe. the 9mm is unabtainable - off roster.

$1065. Coyote point still has a few I think. I was just in there today

$1049 at Dom's in Livermore. Picked up mine two days ago. They had a few more. Nice place.

I bought an Expert and I break it out of Jail on Thursday. They have them at Riflegear.
