I would guess that maybe the reloads weren't allowing the Glock to be fully in battery, so the strikes area all actually high because the round wasn't in all the way?

Look at the striker, fields strip it and push the striker forward ... does it have up/down play? Or can it only strike straight forward?

Next time you run those reloads, after inserting each round into the magazine, run a sharpie along it so you can see where the approxiamate TOP of each round is. Then if you get these off center strikes, see if they are HIGH or LOW. I can't see how thy can be low.

I didn't read others peoples response, so someone may have already mentioned this.

      1) Out of spec ammo (reloads). Maybe the bullet is to big, or the overall length is too long. I don't see a picture of the bullets, so I do not know which kind you have.

      2) dirty gun.

        3) In regard to the strange primer strikes, combined with the knowledge that much of the reloaded brass probably came out of a Glock, I suspect that those strange primer strike bullets never fully chambered and the breach didn't lock enough for the striker to get a full strength hit.

3a) The potential reason for the misalignment strike is because the bullet is off set from where it otherwise would be had the barrel fully locked.

BINGO! I do believe you've won the kewpie doll!

It is probably just a tiny bit out-of-battery but not enough to block the striker.

        FWIW - It's the ammo!

Sorry to take so long to update this thread, took a while for me to get back to the range.

Anyway, thanks to the help of some good forum members on this thread, the problem is solved.

The reason why the Glock was having Light Primer/Off Center Strikes was because the rounds were not going into full battery... although they looked like they were. Because it was just very slightly out of battery, the Firing Pin was hitting off center and light.

The reason why there were no problems on the RIA was because its chamber is slightly larger than the Glock's, so the rounds were going into battery as normal.

I just did simple tests with a box of said reloads from the same source. I found some that were not sliding fully into the chamber of the Glock, while the same rounds would fit into the RIA.

Nothing wrong with the Glock as most have suspected, it's the ammo that was just very slightly over sized.

Many thanks to those of you guys that helped figure out the problem!

The reason you don't see the drag marks on 3 primers is because the cartridges didn't ignite.

I would inspect the fired factory loads. If they addon strike the same area, then it's not the glock, it's the ammo. If a firing pin is shifting, it's going to shift on all your ammo. If it's not shifting, then the reloads aren't chambering uniformly. (I suspect the ammo). The glock chamber has a slightly larger chamber for dependability with different factory loads (cops don't need jams) . Your other gun has tighter chamber so it probably centered and lined the crap loads a little better. Glock is a great factory ammo weapon. I use a wolf barrel in my glocks for shooting reloads.

The rounds were fired with the gun slightly out of battery..

                I would say bad ammo.

Also, did you rerack the dudes and try firing them?
If not, see if they seat correctly on the chamber.

I noted that when I used my RIA barrel to do the 'plunk test' on my reloads. Rounds that passed did not do well in my Colt. So I always use a Colt barrel for my 'plunk tests' now.
