Popular single stack/less than 10rd cap. pistols

If You had to name some of the popular/desirable off roster (and on roster) pistols that :

    1) being currently offered as a standard production model ( no special runs, custom shop .etc)
    2) were originally designed to use magazines that hold 10 or less rounds.
    3) chambered in 9mm and .45acp.
    4) have a retail price of 1500.00 or less.

    What guns would You name?

Sig, springfield, kimber and a few more offer 1911's as standard production models as well as custom if you so desire. There are both on and off roster variants available.

              2) were originally designed to use magazines that hold 10 or less rounds.

1911's are designed this very way

              3) chambered in 9mm and .45acp.

1911's come in 9mm and .45acp; .45acp if you want to be OG and 9mm if you want something ridiculously fun to shoot at half the cost of ammo

              4) have a retail price of 1500.00 or less.

The above mentioned manufacturers have 1911's in their lineup at under $1,500

Even though my reply answered you and mods should've closed this thread, I've answered the above in bold.

^^^ This. Not as popular as the 1911 though.

Ruger MK series probably has 'em all beat though.

                      9mm and 45?

If current production was not part of criteria, many older guns could be added.

How about the triumvirate of German police pistols...

                        Walther P5
SIG Sauer P6 aka P225 (P6 in the roster)
                        Heckler & Koch P7

Great service pistols but they don't satisfy your first condition: "being currently offered as a standard production model"

Based on OP's criteria, the options are only 1911 and Kahr. Between these two platforms, 1911 is the obvious choice. Kahr if you're thinking of pocket size.

How do you figure? One of the hottest pistols on the market right now, the G43, fits all of the requirements.
