Keep on shooting it, the problem will fix it self. I had a few new guns that had a couple failures for the first 100-150 rounds and then had thousands of rounds through them after that without a single failure. New guns need to be broken in.

I'm willing to bet you had a limp wrist because of anticipation.
Work on getting a good grip and dry firing at home.

I put 250rds thru my G23 out of the box without any issues I don't see why you would need to clean/lube it first.
The things are supposed to be built like tanks and ship to you ready to go.

You're more than welcome to clean it out but I'd put my money on it being a fundamentals issue.

RO'ed a GSSF match once. Watching the Glock armorers tell owners that Glocks need a tiny drop of lube on the rails and scolding those that cleaned away the copper bedding compound was entertaining.

Hearing to lube Glocks and AR must be run wet still make me laugh.
