Nighthawk grp vs Baer srp

The SA Custom Shop makes good guns. So does Les Baer. I have a SA Custom Carry and a LB Concept II, so I'm speaking from direct experience.

Both guns are equally well made so quality is not an issue. My Springfield is finished a little more nicely (just a small bit). Both have been stone cold reliable from the first shot. I would be happy with either one if I could only have one 1911.

Pick the gun you like most and go with it. Try to handle them if you have the chance, they feel a little different even though they're all 1911s.

Where are you located? If you're in the Bay Area you're free to try out my Baer.

I would like to try out your Baer. The thing is I live in LA. Anybody in the LA city with a Baer and/or NHC I can try out?

All the LBs I have handled have been full of metal shavings inside after shooting because of poor fittings, slide, barrel, bushing.
Some say its during breakin period, but that is BS. Poorly craftsmanship.
There are plenty of threads out there from people who knows what they are talking about, supporting this.

I've been online for a few years and haven't seen the threads you post about. Where are they?

And shavings? Riiiiiiiight............

My SA PRO and all my friends have zero issues and the slide feels like it rolls on ballbearings etc.
Very accurate and tight build. Choice of the FBI HRT (not that it means anything) but they have been extensively tested.

The only other way to do it, like I said is to go full custom from a reputable smith that makes YOUR 1911 with love.
I would not consider LB or NH to be real custom guns. Just highend builds.

And I know several highspeed guys that sold there NHs after the first trip to a range.
Same goes for Wilson.

Les Bear, Wilson, Nighthawk,Ed Brown are semi customs. What do you consider an operator? I was in the service (did not carry a 1911 nor did anyone at the time) and am a full time police officer. I have 3 Les Baers with absolutely no problems. All have thousands of rounds through them and they are regularly carried. If you have a link I would love to see it. I had a Nighthawk Talon, but sold it. Two of my Bears have the 1 1/2 guarantee and have never choked. That being said I maintain them and have never dragged them through the mud.

I own NHC Predator, Bear SRP, SA PRO, Brown KC, WC and etc.
NHC predator: Checkering was not sharp but when I complained they replace it. 0 function problem, trigger is crisp, fitment is excellent.
Bear SRP: Fit is tight, finished is excellent, slide is smooth after 300 rounds, 0 function problem. My TR 1.5 and UC 1.5 checking in front strap edge is not perfect, slide is tight, the UC magwell is not even but all 3 have crisp triggers and 0 function problem.
SA Pro: 0 function problem, fit and finished is not up to semi-custom pistol, trigger is on the heavier side but crisp. They replace my pistol because of bad finish, their warranty service is the best!
Ed Brown KC CA: Fail to feed at times, slide fitment is a little loose, trigger is not crisp, finished is excellent.
Ed Brown ET CA: Light strikes, slide fitment is a little loose, trigger is not crisp, Finished is excellent. They fixed the light strike but trigger is still not crisp. Warranty service is not friendly.
All my WC are excellent with 0 function problems and the WCSG are perfect.
