    Ruger Mark IV Target

Due to our crappy state gun laws and even more stupid roster, I've been looking for a Ruger 22/45 Lite for years with no luck. Last month, I found this on the marketplace and decided that I'm done waiting.

Two separate days off, 500+ miles driven and $$$!! She's home!

    Congrats! Looks amazing!

Just curious. What is so special about Mark II, III and IV that people are willing to pay more than other great target pistols such as S&W 41 or Beretta 87 or Browning Medalist?

41s and 87s are much more expensive than the Marks I, II & III.
The Marks are sturdy, reliable and good shooters.

The main gripe is the tricky reassembly which the Mark IV has corrected.

      Good pickup OP.

I commend you for not rolling over to the anti 2A laws that are being forced upon us here. These laws are designed to make it as tough as possible to own a gun in CA but there still are folks like you who continue on in the struggle against the antis.

Great looking pistol. I wouldn't trade my mark iii target for anything, had to buy one for myself because the wife wouldn't let me to a trigger job on hers. Guess who's jelous now. Eats anything I throw in the throat. Also wanted to say that dis and reassembly is simple it's just about fallowing directions.

Very nice. I loved shooting my dad's Mark II. One of my favorites. I will likely pick one up sometime after departing.

Because a Ruger MK anything is very accurate out of the box. With a bull barrel and trigger job (Both factory on the MK IV) they are almost self aiming.

My MK I (Granted it has been accuratized) will same hole shoot all day long, even in a child's hands.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Very nice SCORE... Congrats !!! Mark III grips won't fit...

... but I'm thinking these would look pretty awesome on that Black Beauty (not mine)
Stopped in the LGS to get some cleaning supplies and there on the corner of the display case was a new Ruger MKIV Hunter . . Well in NC if you have a CCW you do not have to wait the 7 days for a pistol permit so that lovely lady is now at home with me. The stock grips look fantastic but I...

I love my Mark III Target. It hurts me to see how easy the Mark IV is to break down! It's a bit of a thing to do it on the older models, but maybe part of the "fun"...

                            Enjoy!

Love that Mark IV Hunter...that's on the list!
