Im thinking...sleepy person in a home invasion type scenario grabbing for the gun and not realizing exactly where they're grabbing.
I checked out the p239 tonight and although it's the standard Sig safety mechanism...it sure feels just right in my hand. It's definitely bigger than the ppk though.
The Kahr MK9 is a double action only gun with no external safety mechanism. It is like a revolver, in that the trigger pull is long and provides some protection against negligent discharge.

The Sig P239 is a fairly compact 9mm gun with an aluminum frame and empty weight of 27.5 ounces. Here it is next to my Kahr MK9, showing that it is slightly larger in dimensions:

The reason I like it so much is that I do get a good grip. I have big hands, and the M&P has a little extension on the mag that makes it easy to hold.

The Kahr MK9 is very compact, reliable and accurate as an ultra compact gun. I've shot my friends MK9 and I could hit 8" steel plates at 7 yards with ease. The recoil is not as punishing compared to an ultra compact Glock in 9mm.

P7M8, G26, P99c, Kahr, small framed 1911 in 9mm, XDc - we could list thousands of models - why don't you go out and put some small framed 9mm's in your hand and see how YOU like it. Then rent one and try it out at the range.

Personally it is G26 and P7M8 for me.

I like my CZ P-01 over my G19 but they are both great guns. I have just really fallen for the CZ line and just may have to pick up a DW soon.
