Glock 21sf problem - update

Verified same results with 3 factory mags. Never disassembled them



Nope just a normal strip down to clean.




Yeah I did some research and it appears others have had this problem too. One guys fix was to file down the follewers

I wouldn't file anything, unless it's strictly a range gun. Filing=thinner=weaker. Also may change the feed angle.

Its the Mags... Load them and leave them for a few days to a few weeks...

Well these mags have been loaded full for months. Only reason I discovered this issue is that I was going to hit up the range today.

Mags may need to be broken in. Keep them loaded for a week and shoot.

I had the same problem with my Gen 4 21 with all 3 magazines. Leaving the mags loaded isn't going to help loosen up the spring. In my case the 10th round was at a weird angle from the spring pressure and wouldn't load properly. I found that loading the mags with 8 rounds and cycling them at the range loosened up the tension. I was then able to load and shoot 9 and after a few range trips I can load all 10 and insert the mag on a closed slide and haven't had any more problems.
