I voted Duty treatment. Don't want to have to worry about galling issues inherent with DW stainless guns. Don't want to have to baby it during break in. Don't like the look of stainless either.

          The stainless looks sharp.

Brother got one in Duty Coat, and its quite nice, but I voted for stainless.

I love the look of stainless steel pistols... 1911 and revolvers in stainless are just classy.

Is there a known issue with DW stainless guns? Is their stainless more prone to rust/galling than other companies?

Prefer stainless as I have a stainless CBOB and Valor myself. Though the duty coat is quite nice.

Never had galling issues with either. I made sure during the 500rd break-in period I clean & oil them every 50rnds.

What are you going to use it for? I prefer the look of stainless but, if it will see a holster frequently, duty coat

                          Easy answer. Get both!

One for show and one for work.

Have the stainless and love it.

I chose stainless because if I want to finish it any other way later, I won't have to pay extra to strip what was on there before.
