So like a giddy schoolgirl, I just compiled all the compact guns I have:

just....wow! Nice collection. IMHO your Glock 19 (or 23 if you like .40) and 26 (or 27, ditto) and Glock 42 (or 43 if you want to go slightly smaller with the .380). Same operating system, same caliber for the most part.

(a) When a person applies for a license to carry a pistol, revolver, or other firearm capable of being concealed upon the person, the chief or other head of a municipal police department of any city or city and county may issue a license to that person upon proof of all of the following:
(1) The applicant is of good moral character.
(2) Good cause exists for issuance of the license.
(3) The applicant is a resident of that city.
(4) The applicant has completed a course of training as described in Section 26165.
(b) The chief or other head of a municipal police department may issue a license under subdivision (a) in either of the following formats:
(1) A license to carry concealed a pistol, revolver, or other firearm capable of being concealed upon the person.
(2) Where the population of the county in which the city is located is less than 200,000 persons according to the most recent federal decennial census, a license to carry loaded and exposed in only that county a pistol, revolver, or other firearm capable of being concealed upon the person.
(c) Nothing in this chapter shall preclude the chief or other head of a municipal police department of any city from entering an agreement with the sheriff of the county in which the city is located for the sheriff to process all applications for licenses, renewals of licenses, and amendments to licenses, pursuant to this chapter.

Imagining a perfect world where you can carry any gun you like, and given those you have listed, I'd go (1) with Shield 9 and then (2) either the G43 or the P938. As a third gun I would pick a revolver, either a J-frame, a Ruger LCR9, or, just dreaming, a Chiappa Rhina 20DS.

Nice collection! I would go with Glock 43, Glock 19 Gen4 (any color), and Glock 26 Gen 4 (for magazine compatibility with G19) or Sig P938 (if you want to change it up a bit and have manual safety). Anyway you go, I would stick to same ammo to simplify your ammo selection. Also, for compact, 40 S&W is pretty snappy.

And, this is just the compact collection? Wow! Whichever 3 you pick, switch 'em up every 6 mos. or so for variety, if you can. Costs a bit more to qualify with a new pistol each time you modify your permit, but worth it for the variety. After a couple years, you will know which ones you will really want upon renewal.
