    S&W22 Victory ??

    Can my Son who lives in CO. give me his S&W22 Victory it's not on the
    CA Roster.

    Yes. You still need a Handgun Safety Certificate. You must also submit a Report of Operation of Law or Intra-Familial Handgun Transaction and $19 fee to the DOJ within 30 days after taking possession. You don't need to go to FFL.

      Nice try but, WRONG!!

      It would be an interstate transfer and federal law has required ALL interstate firearms transfers to be conducted by an FFL in the state of the new owner since 1968.

      This transfer is roster exempt but does count towards your 1 in 30.

      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

          Check with the FFL what kind of paper they need for the intra-family transfer.

            Good point.

            Make sure the FFL understands these kinds of transfers and verify how much they will charge.

            You may want to shop around a bit.
