Might be stupid questions but... Is it semi auto and everything? Is a mag lock required?

What kind of tools were required to finish the job?

That's a really cool looking DIY project! Not sure if it would be legal for me to do seeing as I'm not 21 yet and can't own a handgun. I was a pretty good arc welder in HS.

Seriously you guys should use the "search" button. These questions have all been answered a bunch of times already.

If the same questions weren't asked over and over, we'd only have 2 or 3 posts per day... what would be the fun in that?

It's a lose-lost situation there my friend. If you post a question that's already been answered in the past, you get folks complaining about people not using the search button. And if you do use the search function and post in an old topic, you then get people complaining about old thread bumping.

            Gotta love the internet huh?

Pink dura cote the thing. Slap a couple of P.E.T.A. stickers and a A.C.L.U. lawyers phone number on the side of it.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

the mag is in the grip so you don't need a lock and yes it is semi auto.

As for tools i used a welder, die grinder, cut off wheel and a drill. also needed a file and sand paper. because this was the mini mac there was a lot more work. i had to make my own side plates, which took awhile. with the other kits all you need is a welder and a grinder. i like to use an air die grinder instead of a peanut grinder though.
