    finished my mini mac... kinda

I finished putting together my mpa 30 mini mac tonight. it was a weld together kit from ftf. The worst part is that they dont make side plates for it. I had to use m-10 plates and i had to cut and drill new holes. I still need to work on the fit and finish a little. Still don't know what kind of finish to do. I was thinking of chroming the lower and leaving everything else black. Anyone else have any ideas?

      Nice stuff...

      Where are you located anyway?

Where did you get the kit as well?

Back away from the chrome... Chrome is for old school car bumpers...

Cool man! Today, the pistol range here in fres-hole let me shoot my 'mini mac' cobray m12! It was really accurate, and only jammed once! Now I'm known as "the mailman with the Uzi"! Lmfao!
So is this your first mac build? How is that lower even legal?
        Just curious. It looks awesome...

yes this was my first mac build. it's also my first gun build. the lower is legal because i built it my self even though it was from a kit. i think you are allowed to build one gun a year if it is for yourself. i'm not sure about that though.

yes, this is legal as long as there is no threads on the barrel and its a home built kit.
Add some pre ban Sten mags and you've got a cool lookin new pistol and you dont even need a mag lock since the mag is in the grip.

Is that a 9mm? I wonder how it kicks compared to the M11/9 full size- that's a lot of stroke and mass you're removing from the bolt.

It does look cute though- a short 10 round mag would be neat just to have.

                    I'd parkerize it.

Flat black is nice, how about digi camo? I had a M-11 in my younger days, I traded it for an AR.

So does it come with a serial number that you have to register when you are done building it?

As to the chrome, I'd skip that and go with pink polka-dots

If it had a SN# you would need a FFL to transfer it, not needed here.
