      HAHAHHA OK WAIT...
I actually googled this and found an install video.

What's more unnecessary here, the product, the gloves, or the install video itself??

LOL... I think I'll start my day off with a good laugh.

Does it come with silicon adhesive like the Harley stickon plastic chrome?

What will they think of next??
Wow. Panties in a real twist over what is actually a useful product for a specific audience. Improving "gripability" of the slide when you are shooting in the rain or running the gun with sweaty hands will improve both reloads (if you pull the slide back to release it) and malfunction recoveries. Obviously, if you are just a range bunny, you wouldn't realize this. But if you either compete or fight with your gun, these make some sense.

Beat me to it, I was trying to find a way to make a similar post here that wouldn't get me banned, kudos to you good sir
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I kind of want to pick up a set and try it out. There's really no harm, it doesn't change anything about the weapon other than possibly making the slide grip better, or if it doesn't then just peel them back off and call it a lesson learned.

My G29 with an aftermarket 21lb recoil spring takes some pretty good muscle to rack the slide. I've never tried doing it with wet hands, but I imagine it would be a bit difficult, these grips might help, while not adding any real bulk or weight.

That TacticSkin thing is horrible though. If that were the product in the OP, this thread would have made a lot more sense.

I think the value is getting grip tape to the TOP of the slide. Might be helpful (or not). THe part that goes into the serrations is either just marketing ploy (so they can call it arachnitape or whatever, as it looks spidery) or to keep the top part from shifting?

Maybe useful for guys who like to rack the gun one handed, pretending that the other hand was shot in a gunfight? Sort of like a poor man's racker rear sight?
