I don't really see the problem with this item.

As with any item when deciding it's value, let's break it down into the pros and cons:

    Pros:
-Possibly better grip on the slide
-Can be removed without affecting weapon resale value
    -inexpensive
    -Negligible weight and bulk

    Cons:
-deephouse will make fun of you
    -it isn't free
    -might scuff your holster.

Will I be adding it to any of my pistols? No. But I'm sure some people will find value in it, and I wouldn't fault them for it. It's hardly mall-ninja; mall ninja is sending your slide to Salient Arms for some sweet fishgill slots.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I agree on would be good on a CZ. Very little grip area on my SP-01. Problem is that I use this gun to shoot in USPSA Production and adding grip tape or other modifications to that area of the pistol are against Production division rules.

Looks useful to me, although I would probably just cut tape myself...

I'm running solar with a battery backup for night ops, you're both way behind

This could help some women that have problems gripping a slide and pulling it back.

To change directions a little bit, here is, without a doubt, the most useful pistol accessory anyone has made: http://www.scvector.biz/Productshow/items/SCOT50.html. I have one on all me CCW guns, because shot placement is key.

The M&P slide serrations are already some of the grippiest/sharpest as is stock. You can cut skin with them
