    CZ Advice

Just DROS'd my first CZ. A P-01. Wanted to see if there are any experienced CZ owners who could provide advice on some good night sights (that wont cost an arm and leg)

Also Im looking for some nice rosewood grips. Because they look awesome. So any suggestions on those would be appreciated too.

Finally, any other generally applicable tips would be cool.

    Thanks everyone

My p01 smoothed out on its own after breaking her in a few hundred rounds or so.

I have been told that gun with fiber optic sight and flash light is better than night sight. I have not have an opportunity to shoot at night but I definitely agree that fiber optic sight is better.

czcustom.com has you covered with a few options of night sights ranging from the front/reart Tru Dot Night sights found on SP-01's to the Tactical rear sights giving you a longer sight radius thus better accuracy and also carries wood grips for compacts.

That CZ custom shop website is solid.

I had Tru Dot's on my P-01. Worked well.

Shoot her first and then figure out what you'd like to add. You can always use a weapon light also if you don't want night sights.

I like my P-01, but I had to remove some paint from the side before it would cycle correct. Once the over spray was removed the gun shoots great.

I have a SP-01 which I like a lot better (easier to shoot), but it doesn't have a decocker and I prefer a decocker on CZ's.

I may sell both and get a CZ Target.

If you want to go cheap, look for a set of SP-01 night sights. That is what I put on my P-01.

As for the grips, these are nice:

I'm pretty sure these are are what come stock on the sp01.

A for grips I can't help ya there. My only advice is if your trigger is sub par consider getting the race hammer. They usually smooth out with use but some times you get a really good one stock. Since you've got a rail maybe throw a tlr4 on there and get a holster and start training.

I recently bought a PCR, which is a pretty similar pistol. It was surprisingly snappy for a 9mm. I ordered a Wolf recoil spring in the standard weight. It made a huge difference. Gonna replace the rest of the springs now.

Buy his SP-01 take offs as they are CZ Meproliggt tritium NS with the CZ logo. Exchanged them off an SP-01 before I sold it when I had my P-01.
