Short Reset Trigger for HK USP45

Hi all. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a short reset trigger kit available on the market or a custom shop that will do the job for a full size HK USP 45. I find that I just can't get used to the longer reset of the USP compared to the other pistols I am accustomed to. I find myself not allowing the trigger to go forward enough to reset then I pull the trigger and nothing happens. Thanks for your tips.

I know Brad over at Ammo Bros, had done trigger work on a few USPs. I checked out one he had worked on, and I liked it.

I have a P2000 with an LEM and I like it. The reset it fairly short, but it is not a trigger that all like. You really need to try it out to see, if it's for you.

Match trigger

You need the match trigger. The LEM trigger is the opposite of what you are looking for.

I have it on my USP45 Expert, and had it installed on my USP45 Full Size; you may also want to contact Bill Springfield http://www.triggerwork.net/ he does great work.

Wow...after reading about the LEM mod, I think that's exactly what my USP needs for a short reset! However, will the mod work for my TDA variant? Or is it strictly for DOA?

What's a TDA?

The LEM is basically the HK version of DAO. You have an initial long travel pull for the 1st shot, then a short reset for subsequent shots. Remember that if you try it out at a store or in a dry fire situation, to 1st rack the slide or cock the pistol, because the way it feels when it it loaded with a round in the chamber is not the same way it feel when the action has not been set.
