    G30SF?

Been reading up on them but I would like to hear fellow members on their experiences

How does it feel compared to a 21sf?
    Any big changes overall?

Other inputs are welcomed as well

While my G30SF has more muzzle flip, the actual push from the recoil feels practically identical to my G21SF. With the 10-round extended mags, the G30SF almost feels like shooting a full sized gun imo. For home defense, I choose the G21SF due to less muzzle flip and longer sight radius. For ccw, picking the G30SF is a no-brainer. I tried to conceal the G21SF but it looked like I had a tumor growing out of my side.

The G30 in my experience is an oddly accurate Glock. I don't know what the deal is but it outperforms anything else I've tried.

In the hand with the SF frame it feels about like a G17, the recoil is different of course. With powerful ammo you'll definitely have slower followup shots than a larger gun or a 9mm. No surprises there, but it's manageable.

For some reason, the G30sf is extremely accurate and the trigger is better than several of the Glock i have.

Yeah, but does it feel thinner?

The Glock 30S has the short frame from the 30SF, and the slim slide from the single stack 36.

          Sick.

Look into the 30S which has the closest dimensions to the Glock 19/23, the thinner slide makes it a very attractive Glock compared to the 30SF IMHO. It will probably be my next purchase after my 30 days. Just wanted to round out my collection of Compact Glocks in the 3 most popular calibers.

Feels good in hand w/ base plates. Yes, oddly accurate for the muzzle flip. Went with a p220 carry.

                      Here are my experiences..

                      I've owned two Glock 30SF, two Glock 21SF, Glock 30S, Glock 36, Glock 41, Glock 21 gen4 and Glock 30 gen4

As you can tell I'm a fanboy. And that's just the 45acp's. I've got a bunch of Glock 9mm stashed away as well.

A 30SF is an excellent choice. For me, more accurate than the 30S, 36, and 41.
I traded away the 30S. It had more recoil than the heavier 30SF. Also sold the 36 since I ccw a Glock 26 and didn't need the bigger 36. The 21SF is more accurate than the 30SF but not by much. The 30SF feels good in the hand and you can't go wrong with it. You can get 10rd mags or shorty 9rd mags or use G21 mags. The 21SF feels more heftier since its a fullsize. If you're dead set on a 30 try to get a gen4 since you have more grip options.

Recently acquired a 30S, new in box. I've waited a long time for one, and finally had the opportunity to pull the trigger. The gun shoots like a dream, and is very easy to conceal, considering it's a 10+1 .45 ACP.

I have a 21SF as well, which shoots very accurately and the 30S is quite comparable. I'm a 1911 guy, but wow... I might make the switch.

Echoing what's said above, a bit of muzzle flip, but accurate for its size. I enjoy shooting my G30 SF so much that I recently upgraded the sights.

My only issue is the trigger. Mine seems to be more stiffer compared to my G17.

Never shot a G30, but my carry guns are a G29 and a G36. The G29 and G30 share the same frame, and when mated with my G36 upper and G30 magazines it becomes essentially a G30S. Fits my hand like a glove, especially with pinky extensions. Remarkably accurate. Surprisingly controllable recoil. I wouldn't hesitate to get a G30 if I were in the market. In fact I almost did grab one until finally settling on its 10mm twin. The 29/30 are my idea of the perfect glock, I'm honestly not really that into any of the other models. Perfect balance between size, capacity, comfort, and power.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I now generally carry my G30s over my G26. Shoots well, easy to conceal and like the 45 ACP. Thought it would be too bulky during summer. Not really at all.
