Armcor AP9 MS what is it?

I see it on the Roster but can't find a photo anywhere of it, searched, Googled, checked the Armscor website already.

Thinking about the MAPP1, but could also get a EAA Witness through gifting from my daughter. She could get one for about $280 + tax. Then I would have to DROS it here. So still debating that issue.
Running out of room for long guns but could still squeeze in a couple of handguns.

Spend the extra money get an elite witness match and call it a day.

As far as the mapp1 goes there's a recent thread on it. It's not labeled correctly or something I forget what the consensus was.

I was following that a bit, seems there is a MAP and a MAPP or something Armscor hasn't made an effort to get the DOJ to clean it up.

Just got a quote for a MAPP1 OTD price of $530ish. So I'm thinking it over.

I may just shop around when I get to a place where there are more gun stores.

The MAPP1 is on the roster and your OTD quote of $530ish is nice. I will put one in jail soon and my OTD price is a tad higher. It seems to have a nice single action trigger but the double action is not pleasant. I am not sure about polymer guns (had a few before and sold them all) but for the price, it's worth a try.

The MAPP1 is the only CZ clone made by Armscor that is on the roster and can be had. The other model does not currently exist because of a confusion between Armscor and the DOJ, so I read. I also spoke to my LGS about it and they can only source the MAPP1.

I echo osis32's comment about the Witness Elite Match. If the budget allows, make use of your "exemption" through intrafamilial gifting and obtain one. It's probably around $300 more than your MAPP1 quote though.

            Good luck!

Thanks for that insight and advice, wasn't sure if the price was good, but then again my local FFL has always done good for me.

                ^^^Welcome.

Quite honestly, I am excited to get that MAPP1 and run it side by side with my SP01 and EAA. It does feel good holding it, and the single action trigger is very promising. It only comes with one mag, however, and I am not sure if the CZ mags or the small frame Witness mags will work.

                Good luck with your decision!

Sounds great and would defiantly like to know about the compatibility of the mags!

Also I'm a little confused, some comments refer to a "decocker type safety" and other comments mention a preferred "flip frame mounted safety". Are there 2 different types of MAPP1s????? Davidson's just told me it has a frame mounted decocker!

I also may wait until Sept when we go to ABQ to see what they have back there and pricing. As long as the "gifting" thing doesn't go away I'm GTG

Based on what I am picking up, the MAPP1 FS has a frame mounted safety, just like a standard CZ 75

CZ 75 and small frame Tanfoglio magazine's will work just fine. I ordered several from EAA when my mom got my SAR. They have ran flawlessly in my SAR and my MAP1 I picked up at the end of last year.

I prefer the trigger; both DA and SA, on my poly SAR over the steel frame MAP1. Though CalGunner Railroader mentioned a spring change will help the trigger out.

                      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
