Recomemdation on "Sight Pusher" tools.

This is why I said brass bunch. A brass punch won't ruin the firearm, pretty basic stuff here guys. You're all getting ripped off by buying these dumb sight pushers.

A brass punch is the right tool for the job. You all talk like you've never worked on a firearm before.

Ive been working on my firearms since the 1980s, and there is no ripoff involved, guns are expensive to begin with. Hell, they cost a little more than a set of decent sights, and ive had my Sig so long, immon my third set of sights.

If i took a pistol to a smith and he started hitting my tritium sights with a punch, id stop him.

Imho, An MGW sight tool is the right tool for changing pistol sights.

I have this one. It worked on the Beretta 92 but the slide mounted safety had to be removed. Otherwise, looks like it'll fit just about anything.

I still have flashbacks to the first gunsmith I took my BRAND NEW Sig for installing new sights on. He promptly scratched my slide all the way to bare metal. When I pointed that out to him, he took a magic marker and covered it up in front of me.

If only I knew how easy it is to DIY with MGW. . .

I bought the MGW Sight Pro and must say I don't regret the spend. Fully adjustable and does not mar the firearm.

The MGW is the best universal sight pusher. No more bangup slides, no more cracked or marred up sights. It expensive but you get what you pay for.

You are right sir , we are a whole punch of retiree and "counting days to retire" . We cannot afford to buy the real guns whose we are trained with in more than 40 years ago (Colt 1911, M-16, M-79, M-72, 30/50 Cal and some throwing rocks). Our knees are shaken by old ages, our hand are shaken by Parkinson, all of our eyes need Lasik operations. We are shooting not for self-defense but for beers. But we all knew that, by shooting it tie-up our comrade feeling and it reminds us on our young days.

FYI, I lost the shooting bet so I have to buy the sight pusher to adjust the sight for the whole group.

I think I have that one not sure, bought it from a fellow CGNer I will give you a mini review once it gets here. I will probably use it then put it up on the MP for like $40 shipped. If you live in the Fresno area I can let you borrow it.

I should have bought an MGW universal, but I wasn't planning on stuffing a safe over the years.

Best thing about a good sight pusher is dialing in at the range after your caliper says everything is centered to the slide...but the rear needs a slight nudge to get you perfect at 25yds.

For anyone who doesn't know: You can get nylon punches, a "glock" hex tool, and brass punches for well under $15 on ebay.

I've used it on a 1911, G17, Shield 9, and a Ruger P95 all on both front and rear sights. Not a single scratch on any of them.
