    CZ + Sig + Tanfoglio = SAR K2

Everyone knows I am passionate about CZ's and Tanfoglio's but I took the gamble with purchasing a Turkey gun without ever shooting it. A friend told me about it and I did some research and read a lot of good reviews. What's not to like about a 14 round double stack (for those in a free state) .45ACP DA/SA that has a nice finish, good trigger, soft shooter and accurate? Smaller grip than a CZ 97B too. I'll post a report once I get it out of jail.

This gun is a cross between a CZ and a Sig with a trigger of a Tanfoglio. It is made in Turkey. I am sure many of you have never heard of this gun. Imported by European American Armory which is the same importers for Tanfolio.

The SARARMS SAR K245 Semi Auto Pistol is not just another pretty gun. It is loaded with the features you want. Built by Sarsilmaz for the Turkish Military, the K2 was designed using modern technology to produce a state of the art handgun. It is impressive from barrel to grip, and built for a lifetime of reliability.

Features Include: A cocked and locked carry system, ergonomically designed grip, steel frame and slide construction, adjustable rear sight, extended beaver tail, serrated trigger guard and frame, removable dove tailed front sight, auto firing pin block, a low barrel axis for reduced felt recoil and a high capacity that will amaze you given the comfortable grip.

Sweet. I had wanted to get one before the end of SSE but had more important things to work on.

I do have a SAR B6P and love it. You did well Grasshopper.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I was just too late in the game for this one. I did not even really discover CZ clones until after SSE was over. My loss, this is one of the pistols i feel like i missed.

We're going to have a shoot out between a stock CZ 97B and a stock SAR K2. We will leave the custom guns at home this time

Like any new toy, I couldn't just leave it all stock so I picked up a pair of walnut grips similar to these. Since this is real wood, I won't really know exactly what color it will be.

Great taste. The plastic grips tend to crack anyways

At a quick glance, your SAR looks like a Sig X5 Lightweight.

Yeah you guys and your fancy guns. Belittling me with my stock service pistols schooling a new guy. And cheating with red dots. I never felt so inadequate.

Hey Litespeeds I am really looking forward to hearing your range report and comparison between the 97B and the SAR K2. So I hope you are serious about doing the side by side shootout. Nice addition by the way.

I had one. then sold it before I left the Communistic State of California. The SAR K2 is one of the most under rated gun out there. It's shoots really well and the trigger is nice. Adjustable sights and 14 rounds for those that live on the free state.

I recall you seemed to be doing just fine with your Tanfoglio Witness Hunter .45 .Nothing inadequate about that beast .

It's not called cheating. It's called needing all the help I can get. But even with all the upgrades on my SP-01, I can't say I was shooting any better than with your Tater tuned CZ Compact.

Now back to the SAR K2. Yes I will do a range report and will do it from a rest so I can try to take out as much human error as possible. It will only be from 10 and or 15 yards. I'll even bring my CGW 97B Copperhead to compare with the stock guns.

The SAR is considered an underrated gun but I think it's a gun that is not well known because people associate low price with cheap quality or unreliable. In a free state, this model in all black is selling for only $369 plus tax, shipping and fees. So is this gun cheap or are most guns over priced?

If the SAR K2 shoots and feels similar to a CZ 97B, why is there such a big difference in price?
