    So you're THAT guy
I find shooting revolvers out of longer barrels to be much more enjoyable.

I put one of these on layaway last night

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

My 4" GP100 was one of first guns I purchased many years ago- started off with 1911's and that. Many years later, as my semi handgun collection has grown exponentially, the only revolvers that have been added are Ruger LCR and S&W .460.

But every range trip my GP100 is always there w me.

I have a new found love for wheel guns and have been meaning to go to LGS to look at a few, and looking at FS section here for months.

I think I want to keep it in .357/.38 since have a good stash of that. Like the idea of a Ruger sp-01 3" barrel. Had a 2.5" S&W 686+ many years ago and sold it- of course regret selling as I do always.

I'll be on a hunt for wheel guns next couple months.

I prefer my wheel guns 586, 686 and 19 to every auto I've shot so far. I'll let you know if that stands after I've shot my new browning hi power but something tells me nothing will change.

Maybe the longer sight radius and smoother action I don't know but I don't think I've ever shot better with a revolver single action let alone double action.
Both of these revolvers are keepers!!
                Same with me

Shot only semi-autos my whole life. Picked up a GP100 MC on a whim - because it looked good and felt good in my hand. Now, it is my favorite pistol. Very pleased with how easy it is to shoot. Pretty accurate with .357, but will group .38 with holes touching. SA pull is perfect out of the box. The DA pull - well, maybe it is the shooter as this is my first revolver. I'll reserve judgement for few more range trips.

Wheel guns are pretty great. It's the only part of my collection that is growing.
                    10.5" 460, 7" 629, and a "4 686. I'm pulling anther 686 out of jail this weekend.

Keep it low profile or the anti's will go after them as well. ...

I always admired the Model 29 that Dirty Harry used.. I could have got a new Model 29, but decided to have something of my own, so I got a 629 Classic 6.5" and happy with it and also have custom rosewood grips I use on it. (presentation style and a hand groove wood one that covers the back-strap 100%) Also enjoy my GP100 6" as well.

if you really want to contemplate that sentiment, go buy a single action revolver. great, great guns, and the greater calguns community couldn't care less.
