FN Belgium Hi Power 9mm from AIM Surplus

    Anyone get one of these?

Says won't ship to CA with magazine; assuming they'll sell to me and just keep the mag.

You are correct. I think at least one CGer has one.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I think a lot of FFLs will not be willing to transfer that. The Mk II is too new to be a C&R and Hi Powers are listed by SKU on the roster. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has tried.

I do remember a CGNer posting after receiving one with the Star of David? marking. It looked pretty worn but functioned without problems.
I see your swartz is as big as mine, now let's see how well you handle it

              These are FN

              FN HP-SA / SteelPistol4.66"9mm1/1/2017

              No SKU listed.

You will need to check with your FFL as to if they will transfer these.

Curious if you've contacted AIM to see if they will ship without the mag?

                  They will.

If your ffl has a high cap mag permit, aim will ship it with the mag to be blocked.

I bought one from them they took off like $10 off, for the magazine. I used Kevin Smith as the ffl. A+ guy, I always recommend him and use him for online transfers. My Hi-Power was one with the star of David, it showed some exterior ware but the inside looks great, and the frame is forge steel not cast some say the cast is stronger. find a FFL that will do the transfer and go for it you will not be disappointed

Still a bit spendy by time you have a functioning pistol that has alot of external wear:
$440 cost of the gun + $15 shipping + $35 tax + $30 magazine ('cuz they won't ship the mag to CA per AIM's website) + $55 FFL fee = $575 total cost by the time all of the smoke clears.
Maybe still worth it? I don't know alot about Hi-Powers.

New is $900, $72 tax and $25 DROS brings it to just under $1K.

$575 is a lot easier for some to get to.

I ordered both a FN Mark II and a Mark III from AIM Surplus a couple years ago. Here's a couple photos of the HPs after having just a little bit of work done to them including re-Park and Novak sights....
