I have a .50AE and wish to convert it to .44 with the available kit, but have not yet price shopped. Suggestions?
My example is in bright stainless, a total behemoth, and when carried in a belt holster is really something else. Seems accurate enough at twenty-five yards, and even my daughter (17), can handle it well enough.
All the kids refer to it as a "bling pimp gun".
Dozer is wright try ebay. The conversion packages are much cheaper there than they are directly from magnum research.

Thank you for the info, will check it out. I don't care if the finish matches, I just want something that will help will tame this beast. I picked it up as part of a trade, a last minute deal so to speak. Not a caliber I have any use for, unless I take it for hunting something very large, and in that case I would prefer a properly chambered rifle. Being that we already have a few .44's, to me it makes sense from a reloading standpoint.
I will say that firing the .50AE while night shooting is rather "enlightening".

Update: One whack with a brass hammer and it fell in place. And yea, I converted from 44 to 50. I'll update with range report when I actually go.

Cool. Btw, why don't you post a pic of it for us? Looks like you've got the burnt bronze edition?
