SoCal gun in SD has a ton of 9mm federal for 16.95 and tons of 40 19.95 pmc 223 8.95 federal 5.56 8.95 tons of 380 19.95 bricks and bricks on federal 22lr and remington 22lr I am sure there are other calibers.

I've been to Socal for their ammo. I think $20 for a 50rd box of .40 is a bit high. Well, at least if you just want cheap target ammo for the range. Last time I was there they were selling Fiochi 180gr at that price.

Wal-Mart in Vista today had 8 Boxes of WIN 9mm 100 RD boxes. I got there just as someone was buying 6 of them, luckily he left me a box.

Yep, had a friend hit the Walmart in O'side, can't remember which one (want to say Jefferson) & he scored 2 100 boxes of 9mm & 4 100 boxes of .40S&W for me. The 9mm was for about $20 & $23-24 for .40S&W. The .40 wasn't displayed, but kept in a locked case closer to the fishing stuff, they had to make room for BB gun stuff. Lesson learned, ask the staff!

He mentioned that there was .45 & .357. May talk to him later & if I get the exact location, will update here.

As of 9/14/09 11:43pm, Shawline st. Wal-Mart had two boxes of 25Auto (which are probably the same two boxes I saw there three weeks ago,) about 5 boxes of .22 Stingers, 3 boxes of .22mag (remington I think,) a box marked .410 'for handguns' (how is this any different than regular .410??) and the regular shotgun varieties. No .40S&W, no 9mm, no 45ACP etc. etc. Forgot to check the Aero drive walmart tonight, but I am sure it's no different.

Shawline had 2 boxes Fed 9mm 4 boxes WWB 40 and alot of 223 50 rd value packs
Aero had alot of 223 also and a few boxes WWB 40
Big 5 across from Socal had WWB .45 100 rd for 53.95
Seems like more obscure calibers are starting to show up but not in any quantity .38 .380 .357

Just got back from shawline, no 9mm or 40 sw. I did see the Rem umc .223 and the 150gr 308. Decided to pick up some #4 12 ga instead.

Did you ask the guy about ammo? And he mentioned something about getting it in before 9pm at night and calling in the day time?

Just curious because I was at Shawline at about 7:48pm in the ammo section looking for 9mm and .40. nobody wants the 25auto--they got two more boxes

lots of 223, winchester and remington 20 packs and i think some remington value packs.

25 auto, 30-06, 243, 308, 300, few others. not in any quantity though

some 22 sub sonics too

Just got back from Shawline. They put out 2 cases of 38sp at 10:00 PM
Had 3 100 round boxes of 40 left as well. Limit 1 per on these 100 round packs.

So Cal Gun has Remington .45 for 27 bucks per 50. They also have about 100,000 rounds of federal 9mm at 16 a box.

.45 prices are killing me right now.

picked up the only box of federal 9mm box last night at the wally world in san marcos guy said they just got it and had been on the shelf for 1 hour lol.. i wonder why they only got one box?? anyone know where i can score more?
