Anyone see any 223 left anywhere?

In San Diego, there is lots of it. Most of it is the 50 grain varmint tip stuff, or the soft point hunting ammo. But it is still around. Next time just start a new thread. When it gives you the "This message is older that... do you want to post anyway?" prompt, that should be a clue. Necrothreads will get you flamed.

I can't seem to find any 7.62x39. All I could find was a "Value" 40 round box of WWB for $30! I refuse to pay that much for 7.62x39 just to feed my WASR.

No, I am talking about the one in Chula Juana, the one on Palm Ave off of the 805. I have some other buddies that buy from the same store, if I call and they have 9mm/.223 and .45 in stock, I call them and we go empty the place.

Not sure if some of the ranges are going to Wall Mart to buy ammo because I have seen the same value packs for sale at some ranges and they are asking like $20 more for each box. Now that right there is bull ****.

SO your the culprit? Probably does the same thing over at the Walmart over near the 54 too. I knew someone was doing that because 1 day there would be plenty there and the next...nothing

Well, instead of starting a new thread I'll add info here... I was at the Walmart in Corona today... they have 45 auto WWB for 20 bucks, grabbed up 2 and left 4 and one box of winchester super X 12 gauge birdshot... Grabbed one left 8... The other ammo still had some stock... they had 40 boxes or more of Eagle black box .223 55g and the 50g varmint. Just figured I would share

Hey, if you guys are still looking for ammo they have plenty in Texas. I have been seeing lots of bulk 223 7.62 and even some 9 packed in ammo cans out here. If anyone would like to pay the shipping I can mail you guys out some.

....if that's still legal of course!
