Eh I dunno I got a bunch of .40 cal last night at about 1 AM at the Wal Mart on Aero drive. 13.97 per box of 50. They seemed to have a lot of ammo to me.

There is only 3 boxes left from that shipment after I bought 4. I just got home from the Aero Wal-Mart, another gentleman and I were talking with the employee. He said they got that shipment of 9mm and 40S&W last night, but all the 9mm was gone quick and the 40S&W is almost gone. Also, they do generally get their shipments at night.

How about the cheap hunting apparel there too? I am going to be a hunter for Halloween! $10 camo pants, $10 camo sweatshirt and $5 orange vest!

Wish I could buy up some of this ammo to go shooting. Money is just too tight... Happy Halloween...

Walmart on Shawline has .45 WWB and Federal .22 bulk pack in stock. There are about 3 boxes of .45 and 6 boxes of .22 left.

Looks like the Turners employees must get paid OT to clear the Walmart ammo shelves after midnight.

I went to Walmart on shawline at 1am the other night and was surprised to see 6 guys waiting for ammo to be stocked. They bought up everything in demand.

One of the guys there did look a lot like a guy that works nearby at Turners. No positive ID though.

Walmart Poway had ammo @ 9AM

After I got through pillaging the place, here's what they had:

                      - ~12 boxes of WWB 100 .45
                      - ~20 boxes of .22 Federal value packs (!!)
                      - ~12 boxes of WWB 38 special
                      - Lots of .223

Head over there on your lunch break!

The one on aero has .223 in stock. The 20 round Remington fmj for just under $10, the 50 round Remington for $25, and the 20 round Remington PSP for $18. Not the greatest prices ever, but they had it in stock.

I know this is not too helpful for most folks, but it may be a sign of change coming.

I was just in the Cabela's in Boise. They had more ammo than I have seen in over a year. Bountiful does not begin to describe it. .22's falling off the shelf, value packs from Federal, Remington and Agila. Any other brand you may want sitting there too. .223 in 20, 40, 100 and 200 packs.

I was very sad I don't have my truck to bring it all back to San Diego to share. Hopefully sightings like this indicate more availability at our local stores. (On that note, the Vista (sycamore/78) WM had Federal .22 Value Packs and .223 on Monday. I bought a few, but left 7 for others.
