well i went to walmart in riverside yesterday ,grabbed 2 boxs of 550rd .22...

and there was a serious lack of pistol ammo there so i asked the asst. manger there wtf?
he said they are ordering it but they are getting denied handgun ammo shipments for some strange reason ,right around the july 1st time period,smells very fishy to me..

I went to the Aero DR WM on Friday afternoon. They had 9 REM / UMC 250 rd Vaue Packs for $51 + tax. I picked up 2 for range / plinking . . . The taller balding guy (I think he has a mustache also) said they are getting bigger shipments and ammo is staying on the shelves longer. . . We may be past "Peak Ammo".

They have some bulk 250rd .40 packs, tons of .40, and 1 case left of the federal ($10/box) 9mm. I bought the second to last case.

Santee walmart was loaded as of this afternoon. Lots of .40, .223, 9mm .308 and other rifle rounds too.

I just got back from there. The girl there was helping another guy. I wanted a box and she said I'd have to wait. She had to lock it up, ring him up, and then return, unlock it and get my ammo. So while waiting, I started talking to one guy about the upcoming gun show and how you can buy bulk for cash and screw the thumbprint thing next year. So, she gets another guy to take her place, points to a woman who just walked up and said "she's first, he's after that". WTF. Communist traitor.

Ya, when Discount Gun Mart (I go to the one by Gillespie Field...) had some sales on PMC 223 and 308 couple weeks ago I was gettin' some of that, better price then WM anyway. Those people always seem pretty nice too.

Does anyone know if DGM still has the sale on that PMC??

Ok. Made the rounds yesterday. Aero Dr, Clairemont Mesa, Santee.

Aero Dr. - Plenty of 9mm and 40. Two boxes of 45 Auto *HELD* for someone? Which one of you lazy people is calling and having them hold?!?!

Clairemont - Lots of everything. 45 Auto JHP only.

Santee - Only stayed long enough to see the guy in front of me buying them out of 45 Auto

Yep, Santee and Aero, a ton of 10 at both locations, and a lot of 9 at Aero, only a little 9 left in Santee.

And no .45 to be seen. Didn't go to Clairemont tho'

Santee had a lot more rifle ammo, bigger variety for sure.

Both locations had a fair bit of .22LR for those lookin'
