G36 Holster Recommendation

Anyone have a recommendation for an IWB holster that has worked well for your G36? I have an Aliengear base and can always get a shell, but was looking to try either a leather (with reinforced mouth) or kydex holster of a more minimalist design. Maybe a single wide clip, etc. without the larger base of an AG or Crossbreed holster. Like to have adjustable cant, or an FBI cant if not adjustable.

Not adjustable cant but my IWB from Simply Rugged is without a doubt the most comfortable holster I own. Fits my G36 like a glove and is comfortable to the point you barely feel it there. Holds the gun very securely - even when I fall off my horse!

The G36 is still a pretty big pistol so you might want to rethink that single clip idea.

Generally pretty much any Glock 19 mag should fit the G36. I run a G19 serpa with my G36 for range work.

19 Holsters - that would make it simple! Comes out of jail on 14th so will check out the fit.

I use a CB Supertuck with my G36, and I like it a lot, but I know you said you wanted a more minimalist design - have you concidered the CB Freedom line of holsters? I haven't tried it, but it seems to be in line with what you're asking for.

It's a straight-draw pocket, but the clip is adjustable for cant.

i have been using this guy for my G19

the 36 fits in perfectly in it



cheap and sturdy; i paid maybe $19 or it when it first came out.

One thing on the CB Freedom. I had their appendix holster previously and found the offset clip wasn't enough to keep my G26 from sagging. Seemed the clip had a little too much play and the gun would slowly sink throughout the day. Not the same holster, but that would be my concern.

Ya, that's the same reason I haven't tried it, I personally prefer 2 clips for that reason, at the expense of having a larger holster profile. Hopefully you find something that works for you. Try getting ahold of fellow member Grantar2, he's our resident holster expert.
