      Call Charlie at C4 Precision, he uses a laser and did front straps in two of my 1911's. He also put front serrations on that matched the rear. Whatever you do, don't take it to San Diego gun graphics.

              For me, turn around was a week per pistol. Cost you'll have to work out with him, but I can guarantee it's your cheapest option. The laser is amazing. And if you want patterned strap, he can do anything you want, for a fraction of the price.

              He can go deep, shallow, match the natural curve, etc.
