      EDIT: Good bluing isn't cheap and stainless isn't a "finish." Now... stainless can be matte, brushed, polished... BAD bluing is kinda cheap, but it looks cheap...

          But at any rate, only a small portion of my firearms would ever have the potential to be used in a gunfight anyways. Lots of them I own just purely for fun, and for those I'll pick their finish (or lack thereof) accordingly.

          All my defensive weapons happen to be matte black, but that wasn't really intentional, it just happened that way.
