I only own a G19 and a rem 870.

Never had I thought I'd want a 1911... Until Mr. Eastwood pulled his out about two hours ago.

Something strangely majestic about it.

Yeah, that Gran Torino is a great movie... and the 1911 is a very fitting touch. But can it get better than that? Easily... his cinematic career is punctuated by some very sought after handguns. The S&W.44Mag as well as the AMT Automag come to mind... But my fave Clint Eastwood guns have to be his brace of Walker pistols from The Outlaw Josey Wales.

There's an awful lot of .44 Mags out there that no one would'a bought til they saw a Dirty Harry film. I'm sure Shooter would have eventually happened across the venerable autoloader...
What did it for me was the WILD BUNCH.
I wanted a 1911 Colt Gov't and
a 97 Winchester.
