It seems that's what's going on. NH owner believing initial song and dance given to him. More than likely changed his conclusion upon seeing the evident coverup. However, NH owner still standing by his original decision to replace the gun free of charge. That's a Delta IV launch into deeeep space.

I tell my wife that when I'm reloading, I don't care if The Almighty One himself shows up in person, I am NOT to be interrupted. Period. Never had a problem in 40+ years of rolling my own.

What a standup company Nighthawk is for replacing that firearm.. Above the call of duty for sure.

Until I saw the crack on the chamber I was thinking wow the slide looks like a failure in the metal. Something like having a crack under the surface. Luckily the shooter is unharmed.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s I was hotrodding the 10mm. The real 10mm loads were hot already. Luckily I learned before getting into deep problem. If you want 41 mag performance get a 44 mag. You'll get the 41 mag performance and then some.

Reloading is serious business. Doesn't matter if they're light target loads or max/accuracy hunting/competition loads. If I throw a charge it gets weighed.

Reload by the book and you can't go wrong.

Nice that NH is building him a new one.. and the pressure went up and didn't hurt his hands.

Makes me sad to see that, glad the shooter is safe!

                                That only happens to GLOCKs.

                                I read it on CalGuns.net.
