Yeah but the tanfos that you can do that with all have the same large frame. The cz97 frame is much bigger than the 9mm and .40 cz frames

I read a review online the older Tanfos frame is interchangeable with CZ-75. I like the two tone color with silver frame. CZ Stainless is too hard to come by. So I am thinking of a silver Tanfo now, or maybe a Tristar? Don't know about it now.....,

What if we swap the SP-01 internal parts with the parts from 75 BD. Has any one tried it?

The holes in the frame of a CZ decocker and a safety model are not the same.

A CZ Decockers sear cage pin goes through the sear cage and the frame. A safety models sear cage pin goes through the sear cage but it dose not continue into the frame.

This pretty much means no dice.

I think most of parts are interchangeable.

Indeed, some of the parts would swap. I should have been more specific in my previous post.

Things like the trigger, trigger return spring, trigger pin, will swap into most of of the 75 variants. There are other "universal parts" i will forgo listing them all.

The sear cage will not swap from a safety to a decocker or the other way around. The trigger bar and disconector are also a bit different from each other.

I did try a swap before. It only worked one way for me.

Begs the question if a CZ 75 Tractical Sport 9mm Upper Assembly from CZ Custom would fit on your firearm.

                        I have no idea either as I don't have a CZ-75 TS.
                        Anyone have the answer?

They already do this. It's a variant called the CZ CTS ls-p.

This is essentially a 9mm TS upper on a CZ 75 SA frame. Before anyone asks - no this isn't on roster; yes, it does require some fitting; if you have a 75 SA frame and find a 9mm TS upper you can reproduce this variant.

How to get a CZ longslide in California.

                              1. Acquire TS Slide
                              2. Acquire CZ 75 SA or SP-01 Safety model.
                              3. Remove slide from CZ75 SA / SP-01 and put it in a box you do not need it.
                              4. Ship TS slide and host frame to CZ custom in Arizona and wait. Or do all of the fitting yourself, i am not man enough.
                              5. Shoot your CZ longslide and rejoice!

Why doing so? CZ-75 TS frame provides whole length support to the slide. This custom setting doesn't...
