    Not a 2" or 3"?

5" barrel? That's custom. Mind if I ask why not the factory available 4.2"?

Random thoughts, if I was going to carry something that size in an IWB, I'd be carrying a six-shooter.

I can tell you that my now retired PD brother carried one of the first ones, when they were only available in .38 Spl, in a left front pocket holster as his BUG for many years.

      In this case, YPMV applies.

Many people carry the SP101. I would have the barrel cut down to 4"

I imagine it's doable, 5 inch barreled revolver IWB will be interesting. I'd look for something with a bit shorter barrel, and a bit lighter, but that's me. My carry guns have gotten smaller over time.

I carry a p226 tac ops concealed. Full size guns are doable for conceal carry just gotta wear the right shirt and a comfortable holster

The longer barrels are generally equpped with target sights, and as such are not very apropos to holstered carry for SD.

I have the 2.25" SP101, and see it as a very viable carry option, but I prefer my Shield 9mm.

I kinda miss my little 2-1/4", which I sold. It was a tough little revolver and .357 was not punishing. I do not carry, but it was one of my HD handguns, loaded with .38 Special +P. Five shots.

Until a couple months ago, I carried the SP101 .357 with spurless hammer every day for about 15 years. Unless I was in the woods, my carry ammo was some type of .38 +p. As you might imagine, I HIGHLY recommend that handgun for CCW. I used a Galco IWB holster which worked well for me.

SP101 w shorter barrel (2-3") is on my to buy list. Why? CCW not an option for me, I just always loved my Ruger GP100 4" and figure should have a little brother.

                        Too heavy for my taste.
