Huh, I should give lawman a shot, I've been shooting nothing but Blazer for 9mm.

I like American Eagle and better yet is S&B (Sellier and Bellot) which is loaded hotter in 9mm and .45 acp as well. Been shooting some Federal Alum case lately and that is OK too. None of these create that cloud of nasty smelling smoke that you will see with Remington UMC or Wolf ammo. That said, if you shoot 3 to 400 rounds per range trip, the gun gets dirty. Still functions perfectly but sure dirty after a couple of range visits.

Always had good luck with Federal and PMC.

Is there that much variance in factory ammo "dirtiness"? Trying running very soft 9mm loads for competition if you want to deal with dirt.

Keep an eye out for Cabelas sales in "Deals, Sales, and Coupons." I recently bought 500 shipped for $90.

Price shop and look for the cheapest factory loaded available.
