I have both. The SP-01 (off roster 40) shoots like a 9 and is great for target due to its weight. P01(in 9) feels like a its just the little brother and would be a good CCW. In stock form the trigger pull is robust. I installed the CGW kits in both which yields massive smiles. You can't go wrong with either one.

Check out Pennisula Guns in San Bruno. They usually have one or the other in stock (sometimes both).

which ever you see first then hunt the other one later. You say you won't but after you shoot the first CZ, you will want another and another til your broke or ran out of roster pistols to get.

I got my SP01 first, when I went to pick it up, they had a 97, wife said to get that too since it was my bday. Later found the P01, when I went to dros it on the computer, walked by the consignment counter and saw a nickel 83 hiding, got that one too.

Was just at Reed's yesterday, and they do have SP01. Picked up a Tac sport from the jail.

Just get both if you can afford it. You won't be sorry. That's what I did.

I just jailed a PCR at Turners, so there are 39 in stock there if anyone is looking. RAMI 9mm had a wait list of 40+, RAMI 40 cal is in stock.

Thanks for the all the replies everyone. A few places have em in stock but are about 45 mins to a hour away from me. Not to mention a couple toll bridges. My LGS about 10 mins away from me will let me know when they have either in stock as I'm not in rush to have it in hand immediately. Hopefully sooner rather than later though.

J&R Sports in Livermore had both listed in their email ad last week.

To follow up what I'll be using it for, mainly range shooting, and maybe HD but I have a Glock 19 for that. No CCW as I'm in San Francisco so that's that.
SP-01. No point getting a compact gun since you have a Glock 19. The full size SP-01 is probably the funnest range gun, especially all steel to soak up the recoil.

                          Update:

Just jailed a SP-01 about 30 mins ago. The 10 days of anticipation starts now. Pick up date a few days before my birthday so I'm making this my early birthday gift to myself. lol

Since ASD1 posted, I picked it up at Coyote Point Armory. Nice that they are also only about 10-15 mins away from me
