According to the 3 choices I'm White. I guess a pretty brown one, I'm going with black then Asian with the next two. So no one can call me a racist

Actually, that's the Federal 4473 form. The DROS form only has one entry for Race and it's oddly diverse. There's an entry for Guamamanian but no entry for Thai. Seriously? Just how many people from Guam are buying firearms in comparison to Thailanders?

I've played the reverse affirmative action game my entire life. I quickly learned in college that if I wanted to get the needed classes to graduate I would have to change my race. So I became "black" on the ethnic "survey" cards.

I got my classes before the graduating seniors. I got scholarship offers. I got job offers. I got housing offers. They gave me the keys to the city when before, as a lowly white guy I got nothing but excuses.

That was the biggest thing I ever learned in college. Life is not fair, take every advantage or finish last.

I've done similar. I have enough mixed blood in me that I feel it's my duty to keep checking different boxes each time so "they" can tally all my answers up and figure out what I think the percentages of each are.

I never understood the questions;

Are you hispanic or not?

Then after you answer, they ask again, of non hispancs;

Are you Asian, Caucasian, etc.

Why do they single out Hispanics first? The definitions of "Hispanic" means you a "of Spain or a Spanish speaking country". So if you are Mexican or Spanish, you are both Hispanic. Why are we singling out Spanish-ish people?
