    Glock 19 Central Valley/Sonora area?

Hello, my dad is looking to buy his first gun for himself and his girlfriend. He is set on the glock 19. I have seen multiple threads about glocks and how they're OOS most places etc..hypothetically, if he were to try and find the best price on one, where should he look? Any shop from Turlock up to Tracy and maybe over the altamont that would have this in stock at a decent price? What about a shop that will accept a transfer from an online vendor? If so, what are some good online sources? A middleman transfer through audiophil wouldn't be out of the question either if it will save some money, assuming that is still a viable option and the gun is on roster. He lives in twain Harte/Sonora area but is in the Central Valley a lot. Any help is appreciated, thanks. Can't wait to start shooting with my dad.

Online.. you might find it for little cheaper, but you will have to pay FFL fees (every store is different). Glock 19 shouldn't be that difficult to find. You will have better chance saving money from your local gun store than calgun market here.

No reason to middleman transfer an on-roster pistol - unless you like wasting money because that is all you would accomplish.

Ordering online - you have be careful it is a Made in Austria Glock. If you get one Made in USA, it is off roster.

Best bet is to find one already in stock within driving distance.

My advice to all the G19 lusters is to get the G23. It's the same frame. Drop in a 9mm barrel and you've got .40 and a 9mm in one gun. You can even get the .357 Sig barrel for it as well.

Not everyone shoots or likes 40. I don't do caliber conversions. Once you start too really shoot you will change your mind.
