Ha! . . . . the G43 is kinda like the 30SF . . . they're both Glocks! . . I wonder if the LGS will let a non-exempt DROS one of those too?

Dealers can put anything they want into the DROS system when DROSing, the state does not run every serial number through the manufacturer to confirm the model.

However during their next DOJ audit their field agent could pop them for DROSing an off roster gun. Our field rep has told us many stories about shops DROSing one gun under the pretense that it was another and they seem to always find it. This is a dangerous game and not one that any FFL should partake in if they wish to keep their license.

It's slightly thinner and more comfortable to carry than a standard G30. I love mine and it's a great shooter.

G30SF is a great .45 CCW pistol IMO.

And carries more rounds than a G36.
