I wouldn't. If I were old enough to have bought a gun and some pre ban hi-caps, I would never sell it.

I'd also keep it. You're lucky you have them not to mention a better quality Sig than they are producing today. It should fetch a premium without the stupid lci and mag disconnect but I would not be surprised if you regretted it shortly after.

Keep it. I'm in the same boat with the same gun and mags. I did find that my 226 mags fit in my M11A1 I SSE'd before we got f'd out that.

If you sell it and decide you want another you will pay an arm and a leg to replace it.
It may take a while finding one in as good or better shape than the one you already have.

I have a 1989 Sig P226 that I have owned since the mid 90's, and I have 10 standard (or High Cap) P226 magazines that I got about the same time. Pre 2000 yada yada yada...

I don't shoot it at all anymore and thinking it would be nice to clear it and the magazines out (blocked to 10/15 of course) and buy something else.

Would I be silly selling this? And more importantly the magazines which I own legally?

I wouldn't sell it. And why are your mags blocked? They're preban and perfectly legal

I would keep the mags, you may get another 226 in the future, in which case you'd be able to use the mags, and may regret having gotten rid of them.
