      Come on Mayo.
You want a G18 and now a G17 converted to full auto, really?
While it is possible to acquire these in California, go luck with getting through the process. The process is both expensive and time consuming. This is in addition to the cost of the firearm if you can find one that is available.
Based on that you are asking the question, I am sure you do not have the contacts that could allow you to complete the process.
After this long answer, the short answer is not unless you are law enforcement and the department has a need.

Call of Duty III Modern Warfare
Play survival. Kill of first wave of baddies. Go to computer and goto machine pistols. Buy G18. Go kill more baddies. That's how I get my full automatic Glock kick. Just too bad they won't let you put an ACOG on it.

Shot one in Arizona and really liked it. I heard you can have them here in CA that's why I'm asking. Maybe someone has a kit that's why I'm asking. I'm willing to pay good money for it so if anyone has one pm me. And Mr.Patis you must have little bit** hands, even my 17 year old sister shot it with no problems.

It is possible, and legal. However, as the others have noted, the process is long, drawn-out, and the next best thing to being impossible. There are only a very few legal routes for this, and I believe the permits needed are printed on paper made of unobtainium. If you are not law enforcement, you need to have the correct FFLs from the BATFE, AND the correct licenses (with legally valid reasons) from the CA DOJ to get those FFLs. Outside of FFL dealers who supply automatic weapons to police departments, and bona fide movie production companies, it is not going to happen.

now now, no need to start name calling. everyone here trying to point out the obvious--you're only chance of ever handling one of those legally is really, in AZ or NV or wherever you can rent one or borrow from an owner. we all basically trying to spell out the obvious to you. anyway, go ahead, buy a kit, convert your glock 17/19, and don't be surprised if you get put away for a long time.

Okay, here is the thing that we are trying to tell you. IT IS FREAKIN' ILLEGAL. A "kit" would be even MORE illegal. Please see the post above. If you need to ask if they are legal, you are clearly NOT one of the people for whom it would be legal. If you try to buy or build one here in California, you are going to end up in jail, with a large gentleman signing on to be your personal proctologist for the foreseeable future. Give up on it and move on. You can't do it here.

Sounds like the same troll that started a post about selling his gun because he didn't need a gun for protection. Then his gun morphed into multiple guns that he purchased from Big 5. Geez I would imagine these interns have better things to do than start post's on gun forums. Oh Well IBTL/IBTD
