whats up everyone, i recently picked up my 84fs cheetah and only put about 100 rounds through it (still waiting on a bulk ammo order) and performed flawlessly with great accuracy. since it is a relatively small gun i figured it would be a nice carry/nightstand gun so i bought a pack of sig JHP's loaded up one of the mags and leave it near the gun.
Last night something told me to test out the function of the hollow points, since i don't really have experience with them,
i never really saw the point. Anyways so i threw the mag in and tried to rack back the gun, and to my surprise it failed to feed
. i tried again and still nothing racked it back a third time and it finally went in. i thought maybe it was a fluke or something. took that round out and tried the next only to have the same problem. had this problem 5 times in a row upon inspection it looked like the head if the hollow point was started to split. i guess they kept getting caught and that's causing the FTF. tried another mag with fmj ammo and fed fine. does anybody know what i can do to fix this ? or should i just avoid the hollow point with this gun ?
in a life in death situation its not ideal to have to rack the gun three times just to load it.
