              I just sold mine, I don't care for the 40cal I actually liked it better then my G19 gen 3. And yes I would pay 600$ for a G17 RTF .

                    I prefer the RTF over the gen 4. Mine has the fish gills and I sometimes get questions about it while shooting at the range of a match. I don't notice any discernible difference in traction between the standard serrations and fish Gil serrations however.

                          Not a fan of the gills.

                          The Special Mission Unit element of the Army also uses the RTF2 frame.

                          I personally consider the RTF2 texture the best if you don't want to get your gun stippled or modified.

                            I dont understand the stipple thing. Personally i feel it doesn't look so good. Also feel i weakens the frame. Just mho

                              I wouldn't sell mine for $600, that's for sure. $950 is another story though - I would figure out a way to replace it. The aggressive texture of the RTF2 feels good to me.

                                My first glock was an original 17 in rtf2. I love the frame but its too agressive for daily carry. Its great for competition though. I put my g34 slide on it for the perfect comp gun.
