You know, whenever someone here asks about "My First Gun" or "What should I get in 9mm" or whatever ... the answer always includes "Get a Glock 19" so it's no wonder it's sold out often, or there is a waiting list! Especially with the roster limiting any new guns ... why wouldn't there be a rush on a fine pistol that is the Honda Civic of guns? Reasonably priced, very reliable, accurate, light, good capacity, durable, aesthetically unapologetic. What's not to like?

Could always get a Glock 23 and then just build a G19 slide on the cheap. Then pick up an ejector and some mags, and you're golden. Then you have a gun that can shoot two calibers. It's really not that difficult to switch calibers.

Man up?? hahaha you guys are just like the .45 guys. Maybe you "men" are compensating for something else.....
Yes, a decided lack of both adolescent go-a-longism, and any appreciable feminine side.

I moved to the free state of AZ last year. So not a crime. Speaking of crime ironically I sold my spare G17 and SA Loaded to another co worker before moving CA only to find out someone broke into his home on New Years and have it stolen.

Funny how people want it even more just because there's a perceived shortage. If there's a line, they like to get in it - Disneyland rides, restaurants, clubs, and G19 waitlist...

I called Turner's and am the hook for the deposit until 4/25. If no G19 by then I'll end up going another route.

                  Now I wait...

Only 3 weeks wait. Not bad.

3-6 weeks is a pretty standard wait for Glocks - not in stock. 9mm g 17's and 19's are the soup de jour right now

ALL the lgs here have the 19 gen 4. Best price is 539. The one near me has 4. Must have stepped up production.
