    g17 vs g19

So my peeps to start this off yes it's another glockamole thread..guess what these aren't going away..at the end of the day EVERY safe needs at least 2, or 3, or 10. So g17 vs g19, I believe they all have their place. .my ccw is the g19. Out to 60 yards man size targets aren't an issue. That being said, for the casablanca there is just something about g17 with light that gives me the confidence knowing I'm good to go! Get you one Ladies and gents. Stipple it, make it your own but get you one.

I hated glocks. Over the years I had a 2xg22, g30, 2Xg26. That being said in the last year I got back on the g-wagon. I didn't like the "glock finger" etc. Do yourself a favor and get one... im sure alk have their preferences but my mindset keeo an open mind..and to all stay safe!

I've owned several G19s, but there's only one Glock in my safe now right now. It's the 17.

I shoot just as well with both guns. I prefer the glock 19.

Good looking gun! I haven't done a side by side comparison yet. With either I feel like I can point exactly where I want on the target, and place a bullet on that location. The ability to manage the recoil for followup shots is also an added plus.

I seem to favor a g17 AND g26 setup for when I'm going with 9mm, and my g22 AND g27 when I'm going with .40

The compacts (19/23) definitely have their place, but I just love those little sub compacts with some pearce grips. Perfect backup for the full size. Sick.

I prefer G19 over G17 as they have more uses, but love shooting a G17

I guess I'm one of a few who don't find a need that the G19 fills.

For carry, I prefer the G26 or Shield.

For range, the G17 or G34 is much better.

I've put a G19 in my LGS's shopping cart a half dozen times, I guess because I think I 'should' have one, but cancel it every time.

I do have a G23 with a 9mm conversion but never use it. Actually loaned the conversion kit to a friend 5-6 months ago. I keep the G23 because it my last .40 .. so just in case.

G19's a great gun. Just doesn't fill any need for me.

It's a good light. Clamps on snuggly. I only use it to room sweep when I'm bored.

My understanding is the g26 with the extended finger grip is close to the grip length of the g19.
