Speed loader legality question

I saw it in a number of places. Like this one:

Search in page for "speed" and you'll see it.

I was unable to find it in the CA legal code as such.

Right. Speed loaders are, oddly, included in the term 'ammunition' when talking about what a prohibited person may possess.

No general ban on those.

Seems to me that I recall some .22 revolvers that had cylinders for more than 10 rounds; I suppose a speed loader for one of those might be thought to be 'large-capacity ammunition feeding device'.

You know what, you folks are right--I think I was just reading carelessly.

What a relief! I'd hate to have to load big mags by hand. Oh wait, I can't have those...grrr.

BTW not to hijack my own thread, but I can't seem to figure out if stock SKS's are legal there?
