Apologize in advance, not sure if it is the right place to ask. For a gently used Glock 17 or g19 gen 3, what is the going rate? i saw riflegear sold out at $499 for the glock 19, but was it realistic to find one, or was it only few in stock, and OOS every other day? Thank you.

So are you buying or selling?? And, you do not list your location.

If you are buying and can wait:Glock 17 and 19 sell for $519 at Turners. If they are out this week, they will have them next. Also, Glocks are stamped out faster than the post office makes "Forever" stamps.
If you are in So cal call 2Azone, vendor on calgun. They can even do better than Turners according to a post from Babbosh.

If you are selling: Well, I would not give more than $400 for a used G17 or G19 that is if it is in perfect condition, because I can get a brand new (unmolested in anyway) one from Baboosh for an extra $100.

I have no issues buying a used gen 3 glock at 500 to 550 depending on condition

Most people shoot less than 5k rounds a year. I have a g19 over 20k rounds now all original parts....not.concerned

$500 with 4 mags isn't bad. Glock 9mms are still not growing on trees these days, and most people don't shoot their guns enough to make previous wear and tear an issue.

It is if it's used. Can get a new one for nearly same price. I paid 425 and came with three brand new magazines.

for my liking, i would only consider purchasing a used Glock if it was in original factory configuration/condition without permanent mods after leaving the factory. that's pretty much true to most prospective firearm purchases i'd consider making.

If you are in a hurry, order a Gen3 off gunbroker, have it shipped to riflegear, otherwise sign up for the email notification and buy one when it gets back in stock. my .02.

I would say $400 is a good price. Also if you're waiting for a Gen4 to be on roster.... you might be waiting a long time..

I agree, $400 is a good price. In 1997, I bought a used Gen2 Glock 21 for $400. Then in 2010 or so, I bought a used Glock 23 for $400. I did buy a used Glock 34 for $500, but it had a bunch of magazines and stuff.

Keep in mind if you join GSSF for 2 years ($60 I think), you can get a Gen3 Glock 17 brand new for $425 (so $485, but you get two discount coupons so you can do it twice, so really, two Glock 17s at $455 each, plus you get GSSF membership).

So don't pay more than $485 for a new Glock 17!

That's a good tip, I wish I knew that before I bought my last 2 glocks from a GSSF dealer at full price I'll definitely remember that next time. It looks like you get discounts on any glock you want, not just the G17. Although price varies by model, the G20 for example is discounted to $490ish rather than $425, but still a decent deal.
