Apologize in advance, not sure if it is the right place to ask. For a gently used Glock 17 or g19 gen 3, what is the going rate? i saw riflegear sold out at $499 for the glock 19, but was it realistic to find one, or was it only few in stock, and OOS every other day? Thank you.

If you want new, just wait for a month or two, Glocks will reappear on store shelves by then. There's been some sort of weird unexplainable shortage lately, but it won't last. They're glocks, not 25 year old scotch.

For a used one, as in one of the infamous "less than 50 rounds down the tube! I swear!" glocks in the marketplace, I wouldn't pay more than $400. For a police trade-in in decent condition, I wouldn't pay more than about $300.

Depends on why you're selling and what you need money for.

I'd take a sale of $350 today rather than wait a week for a mere $50. Time is money and I'd rather have cash sooner if I need money rather than wait and hope to sell within a month for an extra $150. If you need funds quick, there's a reason for it.

Most sellers want as much as they can, so they will hold their prices rather than take money sooner. That's just my 2 cents

Well....you can get a new blue label for under $500 out the door. So I wouldn't pay more than that for a used one. For a used I wouldn't pay more than $425. That said accessories and mags can increase the value somewhat.

You're going to be waiting a long long time like not going to happen. Unless the roster gets overturned, even for that it's going to be a long long time, given the speed of appeals lately.

Gen 4? Never happen......PPT maybe $750 to 900

Clean Gen3 from a private party? 450 to 500. No sales tax.

New Glock Gen 3s on sale? $499 plus sales tax.

I say spend the extra $45 bucks and buy new on sale. But thats just me

I will never understand why some people take it upon themselves to ream others that are seeking simple info, we should be trying to grow our community not shrink it.

OP, with a glock 17, id say you could get between 450-500 with in a few days depending on the condition, and at 400 it would sell with in hours.

As for the gen 4`s, dont hold your breath. Because of microstamping there will be absolutely no new semi auto pistols sold in California, Im personally not expecting the roster to go away for at least another 5 years if at all, so id say waiting isent worth it espically because no one truly knows how much longer glock will continue to relist the gen 3`s, they could cancle production anyday, not to say that they are, but they could.

Meh... you can buy one brand new with 2 magazines for that price (yes, inventory is low everywhere at the moment, but that is temporary). Is getting a used gun with unknown history/problems worth it to get 2 extra $15 used magazines? That's your call, but I would just buy a new one if it were me. Then again, I never buy any used firearms that I could buy new, so maybe I'm biased.
